Mental health is something that should be at the top of our concerns. Our mind acts as the core of whatever we do. Hence, taking care of it becomes vital if we want to live a happy life. An unhealthy mind not only affects our work and relationships, but also our physical health. Mental problems can arise due to various reasons and due to the stigma attached around them, they often go untreated.
Mental health means a person’s emotional, psychological and social well-being. It impacts how one thinks, feels and acts, plus it affects our physical being.
People who are mentally unwell, often may not be open to discussing their complications and can suffer from lack of guidance. They are afraid of the societal stereotypes.
Being unsure to discuss about mental health, is common. Those who are facing mental health issues, often fear to be deemed as “crazy”. But, it’s absolutely okay to seek help as mental illness is as normal as physical illness.
If you are someone who feels mentally unwell, then you shouldn’t be afraid of sharing it with your close ones. Maybe friends or family or anyone whom you trust. Mental wellness is a result of an all-round effort, which includes staying physically fit as well.
